Owner Melanie Girard also paints in Oils and has a collection of meditative paintings inspired by the natural wetlands called the camargues that surrounds her studio. She uses 24K gold leaf to interperet the sunny glow of Southern France. Gold is said to attract honours, happiness and wealth; and to provide composure, to stabilise the emotional system, to alleviate tension and stress, and to amplify positive feelings. It also assists one in attuning to nature and its healing forces. The gold combined with the marshy landscape is meant to transports the onlooker to a calming and soothing state.
